The KVV Institute of Neurosciences (KVVINS), part of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth in Karad, Maharashtra, India, is a specialized center focused on education, research, and clinical excellence in neurosciences.
We deliver high-quality neurosurgery care to patients from about 5 districts around Karad. As the largest department in the private sector with 200 beds (70 on a charitable basis), our world-class infrastructure includes the latest generation Exoscope from Aesculap, 192-slice intra-op CT scan, and Neuronavigation—facilities surpassing even those in metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi.
The Aesculap academy lab here is the first in India, training young neurosurgeons worldwide. Our procedures represent a paradigm shift in managing difficult neurosurgical disorders, providing advanced care at the lowest cost—a boon to Maharashtra and beyond. Patients come from neighboring states and countries, including high-risk cases not handled elsewhere.
Located in Western Maharashtra against a backdrop of mountains and valleys, the green, eco-friendly campus spans 57 acres and is well connected by rail, road, and air.
Founded in 1984 by the visionary Hon'ble Late Shree Jaywantraoji Bhosale, it began as a 200-bed hospital and has grown to 1248 beds. It achieved Deemed to be University status in 2005 under the leadership of Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Suresh Bhosale.
Accredited with NAAC 'A+' grade and ISO 9001:2015 certification, the University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Biotechnology faculties. It also runs Ph.D. programs and Post Doctoral Fellowships.
With a focus on research, IPR, and social & community activities, the University is proactive in sustainability: plantation, solar power, wastewater recycling, LED lights, heat pumps, rainwater harvesting, and solid waste management.
